Please review my web portfolio. I designed this in my class and I want your feedback.

Also, under the portfolio, I am aware that the links don't work. I need some help with the actionscript so that's still under development. If you would like to help me with the action script, please message me.

    Welcome!
-On the contact form I would make an actual contact form. It's quite simple. Check out http://www.web4future.com/easiest-form2mail.htm
-Since you don't have much content and not many navigation links I would recommend a fixed width, somewhere from 960-1000px somewhere in that range.
-The brightly colored hover-over on the navigation is very obnoxious. If you're going to do that, make it less of a bright color and add some padding so it looks better.
-As far as the browser title bar titles go, I would call you pages "Contact Me - David Neff" and "Home - David Neff rather than just "Home" or "Contact Me"
    Hope this helps,
    shovenose

Thank you for the suggestions. Just a few things:
    1. I am working on it.
    2. How do I do a fixed width?
    3. What colour do you recommend? Thank you for the suggestion!
    4. I'll consider changing the names!

    Your suggestions are muched appreciated!

    Hey Fleet,

I would recommend possibly looking at sites like

    http://patterntap.com/
    http://www.cssmania.com/

that way you can see what other designers have created and get some inspiration that you can incorporate into your site... If you want more help when it comes to designing you should go to youtube and look up someone named Michael Locke.. He is the head UI designer for YAHOO.. I have found him very helpful..

His website can also be viewed http://www.mlwebco.com/ and just click the video links..
