I am finally content with where i am on my site. (i'm sure that will all change in a month or two, though). Anyway, i am looking for constructive feedback on my image gallery.

    its nice!
i like the way you have set up your homepage although you should preload all of your mouseovers. because it can get annoying waiting for them to load..

my only other suggestion is to lose the frames..

    good job overall.

I like the design, and the homepage images are a unique idea. The photos are great, but the only thing I don't like is the headings at the top of the page. They seem to be embossed into the page. They don't stand out enough IMO. If you fixed that and lost the frames, I think you'd have a cool site.

The splash page makes up for any shortcomings of the rest of the site. Your mom has good taste :-P

    I give it a 4

    Why Lose the Frames???

3 out of 4 of you suggested losing the frames?

I am new to this and i don't understand the problem. did you have trouble viewing the page?

I am confused as to the general dislike of frames.

    What's Up?

people don't like frames because of compatablity, and for the fact they arent really needed.

you could of easily just used tables for your page and they are 100% compatable and easy to use. I don't like frames because they just arent 100% compatable with every other browser..

But if you like them keep them it's just my opinion

there is also problems with bookmarking pages..

And it looks less professional when only portions of pages scroll.

Here is a thread debating frames and Iframes, and there's a link in that thread to another thread that debates frames/iframes as well. It's some interesting reading, enjoy.
