    Hello,

i'm working on a web-documentary for my last year in webdesign & multimedia(in Belgium) in my school.
i would like to have some advices about the design of my web-Documentary.

The concept is simple, is a research about why are still young people who believe in God in our Day?
So to answer, i have interviewed like 4 young people of different culture and religion ( muslim, catholic, protestant and jew).

Every comments are Welcome thanks you,

    sam

Moved to the correct forum. Interesting use of HTML5, I'll give it that...I like the rounded circles framing the videos.

Too bad I can't understand a lick of what anyone's saying, or I'd review the content as well.

Nice design. Great video embedding. Did it take a lot of work to do all that? Cause it's really beautiful way to present video.

    - I think a light background would work much better for your website.
    - When I watch a video and the menu is expanded, it looks ugly. This is because the menu is transparent and behind the menu, the video ends and the black background meets, creating ugly lines.

I'd normally agree with the light background comment, but not if orange is going to be the primary impact color. Orange provides better contrast ratios when set against a dark color as opposed to a light color.

Fair enough. I just thought white would be better because everyone is smiling on your site. Or maybe bright orange. Black bgs are usually great for artistic types like photographers, models, and restaurants.

http://odopod.com/inside/ is an example of how brightness and smiles go well together. But hey, "different strokes for different folks."
