Get rid of the prompt advertising... Ads are one thing... Prompting someone to install something before the page load will just drive visitors away.

That might not be on him specifically. That might be Chikita (his ad network).

Personally, I don't really care about the layout, nor do I care about how "bad it is" because it's your first try and you're clearly screwing around for the purposes of learning something. So, here are the two things I'd give you just to start with (others will have laundry lists, but there's no point overwhelming you).

    1) It takes two clicks to get to content. Have something on the home page, or at least have a menu to get to the content.

    2) Your content isn't yours. It's other people's jokes. It's okay to be ugly when you're original. Ask the guy who came up with Welcum to My Trailer Park! .

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah I am just playing around for now, just trying to learn. Addressing the first point, I am planning to create a navigation menu. As for the second point, do you have any suggestions for good sites which teach about webdesign and css? What is prompt advertising?

He means that he was prompted to download or do something by one of your advertisers.

As far as learning about CSS and web design, the best place to start is W3Schools Online Web Tutorials . That will give you the basics. It's not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but it's one site to get you started.

Other than that, a lot of sites are good for little tidbits here and there but there aren't a lot of real "authority" sites...and given the nature of web design, there probably shouldn't be since there are about a billion directions you can take your site in.

What is the best (fastest) way to get feedback about the actual web content?

Thing is.... the ad's have more content than the actual site. If I were you I would try to be done or almost done with the site before posting here. If you want actual help in the creation or your website post in the "General web design discussion" or "html and css help" forum.

EDIT: Ok, im officially sick of the new forum -_- When posting the reply above when I clicked post reply I got kicked off. Then when I log back on and post the exact same message It makes my reply jump all the way to the top... What is going on?

EDIT 2: Lmao. When I edited the post the first time ^ above ^ my reply jumped back down to the bottom where it sits now.. Would someone please enlighten me as to what is happening?

In your particular case? Put some original stuff up. The answer in your case really is that trite.
