Brand new business website design - What do you think?

    Hi,

I would really appreciate it if you could let me know what you think of my new website design. Me and my wife have spent a lot of time and money trying to make it look professional. The website is to sell mobile phones.

Here is a link: (Temporary Domain): [EDIT: moved to the URL box above. TheGAME1264]

If it is possible, please could you let me know what you think of the design of the homepage.
    - Rate it out of 10 (1 poor to 10 Fab)
    - Postives
    - Negatives
    - Improvements

Main question: What niche age do you think it would appeal to?.

Thank you so much for your time,
    Joe.

Can't see your site on my work computer, but to answer your "Main question", that's something you should have researched/decided before you ever sat in front of a computer.

    That was my thinking, actually.

I'm going to reserve judgement on the rest of it since I have a suspicion that hopefully Mare can confirm or deny.

I mean that it looks like you used a template rather than building your own stuff.

AlphaMare would be better able to tell us, though.

Yes I did use a template, but I've made a substantial amount of edits to it. Would you let me know what you think to it? Also, how did you know I'd used a template. Guess?

    Responsive Magento Theme

Fortis is a premium Magento theme with advanced admin module. It's fully responsive and extremely customizable.
    Buy this Magento theme
That's in your custom menu. I thought you were running W*rdPr*ss at first, but then I realized you're running Magento.

To be blunt, you took a template and you half-***-hacked it. There really isn't anything more to say than that. You didn't even bother to remove half of the stuff. Changing a few colours and putting up a few pictures doesn't make your site a site...it makes it a template bastardization. That's it.

This is exactly why no one will review it. Areas in red indicate that YOU made the website and spent a lot of time making it which you clearly did not.

Design is a funny word. Some people think design means how it looks.
But of course, if you dig deeper, itís really how it works.

But I don't understand why people don't want to review it for us just because we used a template. I've seen very established successful business who have obviously used a $80 template from themeforest. Take Matalan and Poundland. Both use a magento template from themforest. Why in your eyes is this so wrong, no one know, and it saves lots of money and time. The template has been picked to fit my niche and same with the colour. Adding images and designs has also taken time and effort.
