I think it's very bizarre that a guy from Serbia is posting a web design site for review that is apparently run by a woman who works in one of the smallest, most whitebread areas of Canada, especially since the site itself was built on W*rdPr*ss and appears to be based on the SmartStart theme.

    I call lazy-assed get-rich-quick BS.

So, another web design company using a WP for their site.

    besides that...

on the home page, you broke rule #1... "don't make the user have to scroll to figure out what the site is about"

I think I'll stop there, but I'm sure based on those 2 things, I could probably spend more time than I care breaking it down.

I think maybe the guy from Serbia noticed this site for whatever reason, and is asking for opinions about it.
I don't think there's anything in the rules that it has to be your own site when you ask for a review - it's just assumed, but that may not always be the case.

Anyway, I agree with that anyone using Wp for their site can't really call themselves a designer, with the possible exception of someone who has written their own theme from the ground up. And even I, who use WP quite a lot, am getting sick of these "designers".

    [EDIT]
She is not a designer - she's a liar. She is attributing other peoples' work to herself.

She says “Enovations Designs, designed, developed and hosts this CMS based website for Performer Anslem Douglas.” The CSS has author attribution to a Themeforest author. It’s a purchased theme called SmartStart.

She says “Enovations Designs, designed, developed and hosts this CMS based website for Landscape Contractors, Jake and Dirk Woudstra.” The CSS has author attribution to a Themeforest author. It’s a purchased theme called SmartStart.

She says “Enovations Designs, designed, developed and maintains this CMS based website for the professional photographer Shar Rowan.” The CSS has author attribution to a Themeforest author. It’s a purchased theme called Simplex.

She says “Enovations Designs, designed, developed and maintains this CMS based website for designer Janet Hannah of Hannah Design, based in Newcastle ON”. The CSS has author attribution to a Themeforest author. It’s a purchased theme called U-Design.

I am so sick of this - I work with WP and I do use purchased themes - most often themes bought by my clients before they even contact me. I ALWAYS make it clear in the description of the project that it is a purchased theme.

I'm not going to comment on these types of sites anymore, it gets me too pissed off.
