Actually, you're in Fergus...that's Redneck (aka Guelph) Squared. Man, there's nothing out there. Not a bad area to drive through, and I just picked up a client from Elora, but DAMN dude...you're either a serious nature lover, a farmer, or a loner. There's nothing out there.

I guess you're targeting the Guelph portion of the Golden Triangle, so from that standpoint you're probably fine. But I don't really like this site for three reasons:

    1) I don't like a portfolio that doesn't include links to the site (screen captures mean nothing). You should be able to link to what you did and explain it in detail. Most so-called designers and developers can't do this.

    2) I'm not a fan of written testimonials. They can be faked quite easily. I'm not saying these are, but by default I don't trust any of them.

    3) You're clearly an "I", not a "we". Be an "I". Stop claiming "we" do things...there's nothing wrong with being a freelancer.

One other thing I'd suggest is to get rid of that Guerrilla Marketing Ideas clown on your Google+ page. Guerrilla Marketers are a subset of Internet Marketers, the most unoriginal, uncreative, irritating, lying, cheating, scumbagging bunch of losers online. Of course, you can't ever pin them on anything because they'll just spin doctor whatever is said to fit their truths, but they're absolute idiots and anyone worth their salt wants not part of those guys and girls.

    Hi TheGAME1264,
Thanks for your unsalted and straight forward comments. I appreciate that and often miss that part in Canadian society.
Funny you mention I'm living in an almost rural area and you just picked up a client from the smallest village around! So there is work to find obviously

    1. you are right, I'm going to add the links to the site.
    2. I don't see why not, when all the testimonials up are satisfied customers directly related to my portfolio. I see what you mean, everybody can write this. But when it's legit, maybe other clients do want to know what their experience is....
    3. Very very true. Because BBM originally started with me and a partner, but I am continuing the Inc. on my own, text needs editing....asap!

Other the your comments which are all content related, what do you think of the design part.
    Thanks for checking it out

Oh, I know Elora's small. Pretty in an old-school sort of way, but small. heh And yeah, you're right. Canadian society is largely sanitized and almost completely lacking in individuality. I'm on a one-man crusade to change all of that!

Design is nice and uses contrast well for the most part. I'm not crazy about the hover effect on the links (almost 0 contrast there) but it works overall. I might also add colour to the social media icons on hover. I wasn't going to comment much on it, though, because there are plenty of others that will and I'm more about the substance than the style.

Let me start by saying your slider image is set to the left on my screen in both IE and Chrome. The arrows for the slider are in the proper spot just not the images. My screen size is a 1920x1080 if that helps you any.

With that said I think you did a great job graphically with your choice of colors, they work very well together. I love the map in the footer/sub footer section and how you made the colors match your site. Do you have a link on how to accomplish this idea (with adding the map like you did or customizing the colors)? I wouldn't mind applying this idea somewhere down the road. It is very cool.

One thing I don't like, I think because it is a bit confusing, is when you go to the Web Design Portfolio page there isn't images of websites but rather you need to go searching for them. I think if you had images of the actual website as the main image thumbnails then it would set it apart from what is the same look as the Graphic Design section. Not to mention when I went to the Web Design page all I saw was the top half and then the yellow words WEB DESIGN and then what looked to be a footer break but then I scrolled down and I saw what looked like a Graphic Portfolio so I found myself clicking on Web Design link again to see if I was in the right spot and then I tried to click on the Yellow web design words. So yes this is a bit confusing.

Anyways, I like your logo and your Pricing page; I think you have the prices and services laid out perfectly. I also agree with THEGAME on #1 and #3. As far as testimonials I think it is to each their own, because some will like them and some won't.

    Thanks for your feedback Fireproofgfx,
I do agree with your point of the web design portfolio. The first image is a logo which results an easy to look web page.
I made this choice deliberately just for esthetic reasons, I might change that...
Did a lot of updating concerning responsiveness and it looks great now on both tablets and smart phones.

Thanks again, really appreciate the thoughts =)

Wow. What an awesome site. Kinda' flawless to be honest, the only thing I dislike is the way the images are shrank on the portfolio sections.

    Awesome site.

    It's a Joomla site.
I'd like to know if they created the theme they're using or if they modified a purchased one.

Thanks Cranavvo and AlphaMare for your feedack. It's great to hear that =)

@AlphaMare, it was a free template which I stripped and build up from scratch. The only thing I used is the basic responsive layout and changed basically everything. The tablet and mobile layout were not working how I wanted it and also added new sections in the layout php files to optimize it.

    Cheers
