    Site for kids- 100% redone.

Can you guys rate my redone website? It is a Social Game/Entertainment website for kids. It is not even close to ready. Not even half of the pages are up. Just the games, refer to friend, and books (which has issues too). But how is the template? I do NOT take credit for the games template. that's from like freetemplates.com..

    thanks

I got Emily hooked on horses when she was 7 - and when she was a "tween" we bought her one - it has saved me countless hours of worrying about boys, beer, and bongs in the years since. My friends ask me why I would go to all the expense of keeping a horse and I always say "It's cheaper than bail!"
Good design should never say "Look at me!"

Hey Yoshee, I've taken a look at your site. I like the more minimalistic style you're going for, but there are a few thing you could do to improve the design:

1.Instead of having a hover effect on the logo, I would keep it fully opaque. I say this because your logo is very important is branding your site to your target audience, so you want it to stand out so they will remember it better.

    2. Perhaps a description or something for the user to identify the purpose of the site. It's hard to distinguish exactly what the site is for simply by visiting it.

    3. Don't forget meta description/keywords tags!

    4. Will there be more content, or is about all you plan on having? The site needs a structure, as I can tell now there isn't much to put into a structure, but as you add content, ensure you have a semantic and useful structure to your content that streamlines the user's actions.

    5. Maybe increase the size/weight of the titles and throw in a couple colors to liven things up a bit?

That's all I can come up with for your early design, but keep at it and good luck!
