I think it's a half-assed attempt at a website because it's easy for any idiot to download WordPress and a theme and start running off at the keyboard.

There seems to have been very little, if any, attempt to modify the theme.

This may be your site, but it is not your design.
Asking for a design review of a purchased (or worse - free) theme, is useless.
If the person who created the theme wants a review, I'll be happy to give it.
