    Please comment my second design

    Hello,

I would really appreciate if you could comment my second try in PhotoShop design creation. And maybe you could help me where I could find useful lessons about colors in design. Thank you for your time.

I think it looks even though the colours are a little garish (i assume this is what you were going for). Maybe on the top bar and where the green content is you could make use of shadows to create more depth?

The colors are painful and the fonts don't match each other.Gradients all over are ick. Keep working at it!

noodles - I realize you are a fairly new member here, but we tend to try to offer constructive criticism instead of just insulting the sites offered here for review.

Perhaps you could offer some ideas about how to "Keep working at it" - You say the colours are painful - what are your suggestions as to how can that be fixed? The fonts don't match? What font would you suggest using and why? Gradients are ick? Define "ick" and give suggestions on how to make better gradients.
Good design should never say "Look at me!"
It should say "Look at this." ~ David Craib

Yes. Please do conform all of your designs to a passing trend.

But seriously, I like the whole flat thing, when done properly, but don't just go with a design simply because that's what some people are doing.

I dont mean conform to a particular design trend, I meant do some research and find different inspiration.

But one thing I would say is important is to keep consistency though out the site with fonts and colors .

Also I think it is very important to be aware of new design trends, even if they are crap.

You have too many colors, but generally it's OK.

I dont like yellow and maybe many people will not like this color. Use light color in your design.
