    can someone breakdown bitstamp.net?

    Hi I'm trying to understand how a crypto-currency website exchange would work. bitstamp.net is one of the very successful ones with a good reputation.
    what I'm trying to get is the steps into creating it.
    this is how I can assume it's made with my limited knowledge in the matter.
    website facade(html css):
    -trade engine bridge(javascript/ruby)
    -trade engine (java/c)
    -various API's to get data from other websites
    -trades database (SQL)
    -customer login page (html?)
    -customer information database (SQL)

    What are you talking about? coinstamp.com is a holding page full of sponsored links.
