    Review/Rate my website?

The website is Home | Crazy Cardistry

It's for people with an interest in cardistry (card flourishes, tricks) or anything like that.

Everything is extremely hard to read from my phone. The contrast between colors you chose is not very good. The navigation im not a fan of.

Vapr do you have a computer or laptop? Or do you only use your phone lol..Either way I love it, every review seems to be done through your phone

Anyways, as for the review, your logo is hard to make out, poor choice for font besides, being about cards I would have incorporated a spade or something into the logo design. I understand the design is what you might see on the back of playing cards but the Spades, hearts, etc are more recognizable.

I agree with Vapr, you should make the fonts brighter either white or a brighter gray. I like the blue button action, and I feel you should incorporate that blue more into the overall design of the pages to help off set the monotone colors.

Thank you very much for your review. I never really thought of a logo with a spade, I'm not sure why, but it's a really good idea. It seems obvious, so I'm not sure as to why I didn't do it, but I will now. I will also make the font a little brighter, as you both thought fit. I'll also try my best to incorporate the blue into all of my website. Thank you again for taking the time to review my website.

Thank you for your review, I will try to brighten the font colour, but I'm not sure how much easier I can make the navigation.

I just get on here primarily through my phone. I get on forums and what not when im takin breaks between classes or between work when i step out for fresh air. Usually once im on my computer im distracted by one thing or another.

The navigation is just an preference. I just feel its unbalanced. I would give STORE its own line and not have it setting next to home like it is. Its probably just like that on mobile as well. The search feature threw me off a little tho. Id make it a little clearer that the bottom grey section is where you input the text to search. Again that may just be me.

I agree with fireproofgfx about using the blue more in your copy. The logo in my opinion is going in multiple directions. The icon feels elegant and fancy where the words "crazy cardistry" looks very scifi and techie

Not to bad....just like they mentioned. The Gray on Gray is kind of hard to read....for those who have vision problems. I can read it fine but you should use a brighter Text. As for the Logo Font, Needs to be a bit bigger and a different Font. The Spade would be a good Logo idea Or a Playing Card with your Sites Title name inside of it. Or you can even use all four icons. Spade, Diamond, Clubs and Hearts and incorporate them somehow in your logo title. good luck

Haha... I definitely will fix the font as soon as I get time. I've been trying to come up with an original logo too. Soon, soon...
Thanks for your reply by the way.

Good logos are not easy to produce. I am in school for graphic design with the hopes of breaking into branding (logos).

Most people jump right to a computer screen. Which is a horrible idea. Start by researching. Look up other companies similar to yours. See what looks good and doesnt. From there you should SKETCH! Yes pencil and paper! Even if ur not the best artist, its easier to get your ideas out. We sketch 20-100 or even more! After that if you post what you did on here ill help you out with what needs work and what has potential.
