Would love some feedback on our new site!

We're two swedish friends that for a while now have developed a new site for TV-show information. The project goes under the name "CnemaCentre" and our vision is to provide show information in a new, simple and seamless way. The development focus has been on the design and the user interface to make it accessible everywhere and for everyone.

We had to make some functions only available when registrating an account as watchlist, personal calendar and watching progress for example. If you wonder why you can't see all the functions instantly.

Now to the point, we would really need some feedback on the site! Feedback on the whole site it self, the design, the functions and everything else you find!

Wordpress. Not that its a bad thing, but it does lend itself to the "cookie cutter" mantra. The thing about WP is the ability to make it yours. Yes, there are numerous freebies out there in the WP theme world, you just have to take it and make it unique. As I look at the site, it isn't something that will be memorable. Large, 100% width responsive span header, then basic thumbs cascaded against a minimalist white BG. As is status for WP themes today, your site is responsive and with the advent of the ease of creating a dynamic site with user login and membership creation, you need to make it unique. Minimalism has run its course. Generating RWD based on less has come full circle. It used to be ground breaking and strict guidelines had to be utilized. Now...not so much. Maybe think about something using parallax. It isn't new. It isn't ground breaking, but it is a really nice accent to a site based on new media. I think it's okay. I personally feel like there are many sites like this, but it's cool in itself.

I would like a cleaner, more spacious design though. It's my bias -- I love whitespace and padding, and everything seems a bit scrunched together.

I like the instant vote calculator. I gave Game of Thrones a 1 star just to test it out. PS, I do love GOT. Cool stuff!

On the individual pages, I think you could spend some time maybe simplifying them a bit. Those pages should focus on the info, not on the pictures... (and there doesn't need to be a big picture at the bottom... it's just wasted bandwidth to have such a big picture in the nether region of a page). If you look at IMDB for example, they keep a small medium sized cover image, put some thumbnails, but the majority of the space is for displaying info about the show.
