    New HTML5/JS Website-Please Critique...

    Hi,

I've had a company website for over 8 years now
but was never happy with it's novice design and functionality.

I am a computer programmer and not a website designer.
Two years ago I found HTML5 and made a video game with it.

Recently I changed my website dramatically from HTML4 to HTML5/JS.
It's a work-in-progress and was hoping some people here could view the new website
and provide some good suggestions for improvement?

Here is a URL link to the new HTML5/JS website: www.16BitSoft.com .

Thanks in advance for you suggestions!

This looks extremely 1990.. I don't know if thats on purpose or not? Id avoid adding any sounds, i know for myself when im usually on my computer surfing the web i have music playing and dont want interruptions from it. Im really confused with your navigation.. The text is extremely ugly to look at! Im just not a fan of the black outline of white text and im really not a fan of your font choices..

It just really doesnt feel like a game dev site.. Looks like an old 1990s site.. To be honest the size of the fonts make it look more like a flyer (not a good thing)

Javascript is required, there doesn't seem to be any accessibility options for impaired people, and it's not mobile optimized so mobile viewing is nearly impossible.

It took me a long time to understand the green font that spells out your name.
All the fonts on the site are hard to read and the centered text on the about section is very armature.
And yes reminds me of the early 90s
