New website build - Please could you review?

Hi All,

So I have been working on a website for a local DJ recently. This is what I have come up with. Reviews would be most appreciated.

This site is based off of the foundation 5 boilerplate with concrete 5.7 - so far there does not appear to be any issues with the compatibility of both which is good - although Concrete is still in dev stages pretty much so some of the plugins are not available.

Check it out on pc/mac, tablet and phone and let me know what you like/don't like about it.

*note:* site may run a bit slow this is because the domain name I am using as a test is pointing to my home server, so expect a little slowness.

Honestly I really like. I find the goats a bit strange though...

Also the numbering and pause on the slideshow seem really unnecessary.

Put some pix on the front - although it is loading super slow so I would fix the host speed first then put some cool pix on the front.

Oh yea lol it a loading VERY slowly, especially on mobile. Looks pretty cool so far though minus the goats haha. I think your slider is broken on mobile as well. The image for each slide is at the top followed by a large space with just color like purple, green, and black for each respective slide. Sorry I would be more thorough if I wasn't at work and on a phone.

Thats wierd as the site is on american servers and I don't get speed issues on my side. Andrew, the sliders not broken I think it may be down the the slowness issue you are having. Try refreshing again you should see the slider works fine on cell phone. I think its just not fully loading the assets.

Looks good! Only thing I would add (for marketing purposes) is an email sign up where they can receive news about AHOD's events and buy tickets. Other than that, the site design is great. It loaded fast for me so not sure if you changed anything since posting this.

Thanks for the nice feedback wsdresource. That's a very good idea about the email signup part I shall see if it can be integrated somewhere
