    HELP- NEED TESTING
I've worked on my site and would say am 15% done in all, but my User Interface is starting to shape up. I use a PC and IE on 22" under Xp and would like to hear how it performs (if at all) under other configurations, like on Mac's, Linux, Netscape, smaller screen sizes etc. I need testing of all pages and flash movies, and comments and clues as to how intuative and user friendly the GUI is.

The site is for independant films, and is made primarily with Flash. I know I got heat before for posting "broadBand only" but to be specific a min connection of 384K is needed to stream the films, so the same I held true for the site.

    Thank you for your time.

I found it after some looking. I think the navigation around the site should be a little more obvious. If people have to move their mouse around your whole site just to figure out how to get around, then thats not good navigation, IMO. I think if you put permanent, clickable arrows on the site, it would improve the navigation.

What if I pull the nav buttons closer to the menu? I posted a version online. It's a bit easier like that cause you dont have to travel to the edge of the screen. If I can get away without visible buttons, and not confuse everybody, the better.

There are far too many client-side programs on your site, IMO (then again, I think one is too many). It tries to load a Java applet and a Flash plugin

IMO, I don't think you can get away with using invisible buttons. It's a mystery meat navigation, and you can be sure people will miss parts of your site. How do they even know to look for it? Especially the "back" of the video tape stack, that will be missed if there isn't a button indicating there's more to your site. I don't think the invisible buttons "add" anything to your site, if anything they subtract from it. When people finally find out there's more, they'll probably wonder "why wasn't this easier to find?"

I'm working on the buttons, but client side programs??? Java and Flash? Where are the java apps? The whole site uses flash, i havent inserted any java scripts that I know. Unless your talking about the counter at the intro page.

The buttons will have vissible faces, I see your point and agree. I have many more updates coming up, posting soon.

Hey Hobak. I have seen the recent updates that you have made and I can see that things are coming along. Also I was able to find a hehome posting on google however it took me to the wrong page from this site. The funny thing though the coments posted there seemed like they were about your page. Bizzare aint it!!

First of all, I'm very disappointed about looking at the back of the tapes, finding "XXX", clicking, and not getting any pr0n. Brother needs his pr0n...and his Juggies on trampolines!

I think what you've got isn't a bad start overall, especially for an all-Flash site, but my major issue is that you've combined too many graphics that look pretty clean and like what they're supposed to with graphics (like your "Check the Tapes" graphic) that look like you just went with the first thing your mouse came up with in Flash. Go with one or the other and stick with it.

If you're gonna do movies, why not make a "remote control" navigation/guide system similar to that which the satellite providers and digital cable providers use? Have them hit a button for "movie guide" and have all your movies listed with maybe a "channel" for each of them. Just a thought.

I like the nav cable/sat idea and I saw something similar a couple of months ago at this italian site, but I guess I need to come up with something else.

As for the grafics, they still have a long way; I still have much more stuff to animate and insert, and make everything streamlined and complete. The stupid arrow with check the tapes is NOT part of my plans, just temp, as the main page on the screen will have our mission statement and what not. Oh, and the XXX tape is not really porn but close enough, so sorry bout that
