    Design Review

Just looking for ratings on this design. (Image, not a live website.)

0-10, what do you think? It's not for anything other than fun and experience. Simple and flat.

Although I do like the one page site structure, I'd say that this one could have more space inbetween the elements.
Also, the placeholders inside of the contact form fields could use more work - I'd go with a color which doesn't ressemble the background as much.

I agree about the spacing. Usually I use 100px spacing between elements, but this time I did 75px, and looking at it now, I accidentally threw my spacing rule out the window on the portfolio section! I'll do some work on it and report back.

Hopefully you're going to rewrite that marketing copy. You never want to insult people when you're trying to sell them a service...and telling them the look and feel of their site is "2004" is insulting. You'll want to come up with something nicer to say there.

I'd move the social media buttons below the contact form. You don't want people visiting your social media pages unless there's something there that isn't on your site...and if there is, you should have it on your site first and foremost.

One other thing you'll want to consider...contrast ratio, particularly on your contact form. Juicy Studio: Colour Contrast Analyser <-- here's a tool that will help you, and it explains why you want to consider it.

    Looks nice, though.
If I've helped you out in any way, please pay it forward. My wife and I are walking for Autism Speaks. Please donate, and thanks.

If someone helped you out, be sure to "Like" their post and/or help them in kind. The "Like" link is on the bottom right of each post, beside the "Share" link.
