I need your honest opinion on my website template I will use in my business for targeting offline customers in the handyman/construction industry.

What do you think needs to be done.

I of course know what pages i must have, but what do you think about the design?

    It's a theme.

What else could we possibly say about it?

W3C CSS Validation Service counts 579 errors which would create problems with compatibility and search engine visibility and you should correct those now while you can. Pretty fresh to me otherwise.

The site lags when I scroll past images. I thought it was the resolution of the images you used but after visiting the page Game linked to, I realized it's the theme that's slowing things down. The number of js files seem to be the root cause of the problem. That theme has 20+ script files. I'm still learning about webdesign myself; so, I'm no expert in how javascript and PHP should be implemented, but that seems like way too many files.

You may also want to look into creating a favicon (the icon next to the site's tab) to give your site a stronger identity. Right now it's just a blank page.
