Please help me decide the most suitable design

Hi everyone, I have created two designs for a Job Portal website. The white background one is which i got from the designer, but i decided to modify it a bit so that it will look professional and clean. I need your help to choose between these two designs..

Can you please vote for your favorite one at the following link?

    Thanks

I picked the left one, but I don't really feel either one. It's also hard to tell without seeing them as web pages.

The one in the left is better - makes fairly good use of white space to separate sections.
The one on the right uses too much white space before the first two sections.
    I don't love either one.

I, like the others here don't like either very much, but if I had to choose I'd go Left.

Thank you very much for your feedbacks.

I cannot identify it with left or right because the testing site places images randomly on left / right for each user, to avoid left right bias

So it would be great if you identify the design as white background vs grey background.

I see much here stated that you don't like either, can you please advise me where the fault is? What can be improved for a Job Portal website?

    I really appreciate your comments.

    Thanks

It won't let us do the test again. It was the one where it talked about finding professionals.

I guess the big problem I saw is that there wasn't much of anything there. It just looked like a start of a site that had the same features as every other job site out there. Where's the unique selling proposition?

It's the one that says "Find your next career here"
The one that says "join the team of professionals" uses too much white space.
We may not all be voting for the same one even though we appeared to be before you told us about random placement.
It is letting me see the test again, perhaps because I did not select one on the site.

I also went with the left image (the one that starts with "Find your next career here"). The light gray background helps the white areas pop more.

On a random note, I've wasted about 20 minutes going through different tests on this usability site. I'm never getting anything done again...
