Hi. I am attempting to allow members to create their own webpages on my site to add to a gallery of pages which would display info about them & their vehicles. If I use forms & a cgi script to process them I assume I can allow them to upload HTML/picture files and save them to the cgi-hosting server. I do not know exactly how this would work however.. could I create seperate password write-protect directories for each user so they could change the files, or would all uploaded files be stored in a single directory only accessable to me? Also, were might I find script that would process a form for uploading these file types? thanks for your help; I am considering this as another possibility to pHp/MySQL.

Also if anyone knows what system is used to store the data @ cardomain? This system is similar to the one I am attempting to create, it seems like it may be simple. Is it something like php/cgi, or more like Oracle?

I seriously would not recommend doing this because it opens up a wasp's nest of security holes. Instead you probably want do try out a user profile system; there's a simple tutorial on how to make one here.
