Prefer the original.... it does what it sets out to do, without fancy graphics or unnecessary flashy design.

I agree. The second one has too much text, and it all seems to have equal importance. There's no banner, just a descriptive paragraph at the top. I think it needs a clearer navigation.

The first one is a better layout; however, I noticed that the very first table is way off to the right for some reason and it creates a horizontal scrollbar on the bottom.

My only other recommendation would be to use server-side includes instead of frames to make the whole setup more search-engine friendly.

I think it's an improvement over #2 though.

Your layout is looking much like my first one. Aukward looking and i would try a different organization scheme (nav/banner). Ive found that there arent many instances when connecting you banner to your nav works, and thus it should be a avoided. Instead id suggest an interesting shape/desing round you top banner, that tends to work better. Then you can get away with a fairly simple nav and still make it look good.

yeah, it sure needs a redesign...make it easier to navigate so dont put 2 much text in. Also make good menu buttons, i hate those full-screen sites...2 much space....
