"Why"? As in "why would you devote a site to downloading templates"?

So that I can learn and apply some of what I learn to something tangible and because I want to.

Okay, "want to" is somewhat valid. "Applying knowledge" is also a good reason, and it's the one I'm going to use.

The best ways to apply knowledge are to either solve a real-world problem or to do something unique or unusual...or, if you're really good and a little lucky, both. The problem here is that you haven't done either. Templates aren't unique and unusual in and of themselves, and while yours may be unique in that they were created by you, they don't really offer any particular value or anything where anyone would say, "I need to use these templates now". As far as a real-world problem is concerned...in this case, the lack of originality also applies to the lack of a real-world solution. It's been done to death, the corpse has been exhumed, reanimated itself temporarily, and then some redneck shot the zombie to make certain that it was dead and would never rise again.

You've obviously got some ability, because it appears that you at least created the site and templates yourself...which is a whole lot more than I can say for most people when they show up with a site based off of a template that they want to review. So that's a start. You also seem to be trying to learn, so that's cool too. What I would suggest you do is this: take what you've learned here by creating these templates, find something that you can apply it to in a unique or at least highly unusual way (the more difficult or unique, the better), and then see what you come up with. You're from Texas (according to what I can see in a WHOIS lookup). Maybe do a site about Texas high school football. I know it's a big deal down there. If not, think of something else and focus on it...and if the niche is filled in a general sense, maybe fill it in a regional sense ("regional" being defined as the US, Texas, and DFW in that order.)

First of all, thanks for the well thought out reply.

To some of your points, besides some coding online challenges from different sources, website templates, Wordpress themes, Bootstrap templates etc. are about as real world as I'm into at the moment since I don't actually work in the field yet. Yes, I did create the templates from scratch and yes I know that at the moment they may not be the best but I'm working on improving my skills and in also in adding more templates and making them better in many ways.

    Thanks
