I'm working on a small e-business site and I've found a lot of different shopping carts to try. I'm starting off with about 15 items. My question is what's a good place to get a shopping cart from, for a beginner like me, that preferrably has a trial period.

Another question is related to a merchant account I was wondering if I needed one? I went to Yahoo! Shopping and it said that I did to use their services. Do they all require this?

try www.x-cart.com i think they have it setup for you to enter your bank # and the money from the cards will be transfered there. I am not 100% sure on this. I do own the cart and it is really easy to use. But I do know some php.
