    Hey people,

Hope you can assist. I've been designing a site for a gardener over the last year and I've applied images of his 'before and after' work at some of his client's sites. He now wants to have an 'inspiration' page which will contain snapshots of gardens and designs that he has seen on his travels, and that give him inspiration in his own designs. He feels that customers can then see 'where he is coming from' in the design aspect.

So my question is, how do I stand on this with regard to copyright? I mean, he assures me that all these pictures have been taken by himself- but are of gardens throughout the UK. Is it okay to publish these images on the website?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

As far as I know, the pictures he has taken himself are copyrighted to him. However, I'm not 100% on that. Hopefully someone else will give you a better answer.
