Simple - true, I know, but remember, we are talking Feng Shui here - so you know, zen and all of that stuff Simple is prefered for this type of business.

Re: the sublinks - that is actually on purpose. I suppose that could tend to confuse people a bit, but the first page, for example, is the "Home" page and at the same time the "What is Feng Shui?" page. So clicking on any of the sublinks means you are no longer on the "Home" page. Does anyone else find this confusing or bothersome or just plain irritating?

When you say it blinks, I presume you are referring to the rollover effect...

That is by design: example, if you go to the "Consultations" page, Consultations will be hilighted in the top nav. If you select one of the subsections on the left nav (such as "For Home"), you really aren't on the "Consultations" page anymore - yes, it is true that yo are still in the "Consultations" section, but not the actual page. On the "For Home" page (or any subsection, for that matter), the main page for that section (in this case "Consultations") become available for the user to click on and return to that page (since ther is no other way for the user to return to that page - not including the back function of the browser, of course).

Sizing of which? The content or the left nav? Actually the left nav was sized the same as the content because of the desired effect - subtleness. Differentiation is achived through colour differences in both background and the actual text.

ok more specificly the first time that you go to something like consultaitons and then click on for home, the consultations image changes from yellow button to white box then to button with white text. Its kindo anoying because it creats a blink effect

Personally, I think it would be interesting to find a Feng Shui site that actually follows the rules of Feng Shui in the colors and layout of the website elements themselves. Basically, look at your website as if it's a space (floor plan) and apply the science to it as such. I think that you might come out with something really nice that way.
