Well here are my thoughts. It has a bit of a unique look which is good. I like the menu. That struck me as a little unique and cool. A minor complaint would be the gray text area on the black background. I am glad it is only a few sentences or it would give me a headache trying to read it.

I would say my major complaint would be the images look discombobulated and seem to be stuck every here and there. Lining them up better would give it more of a finished look and more balance.

It looks very, very crude. A jumble of disconnected boxes slapped on a page. The masthead has a photo slapped in the middle of a dark background... no design integration.

At an absolute bare minimum, fix the homepage. Lay out the element in some sort of grid. Think about consistent sizes and proportions.

But if you can afford it, I'd strongly recommend that you hire a designer. People's expectations have gone way up, and amateur design just doesn't cut it anymore.
