What is the worst part of my blog, what needs improvement?

Hi guys, I don't want to bother you too much, but I would really appreciate your opinion on my blog. I focused on speed rather than beauty, simply because I wanted my content to stand out more and be as fast as possible. Is it better to centralize my logo and put a new font, and do I need to focus on the menu or should I leave it as it is?

I quite like it but here are my suggestions

    - White text on light blue is difficult to read. It's not too bad and used sparingly but a bit more contrast would be good

    - Be consistent giving things padding - "ABOUT ME" and the blog tag buttons could do with more padding. Also "ABOUT ME" shouldn't be in all-caps, it looks out of place

    - The blog tag buttons (practical, informational) don't really seem that useful, you could get rid of them entirely. If so, think about another way to bring colour into it. Maybe colour the blog post titles by default (but with a higher contrast colour than the light blue being used currently).

    - The teal blue & the stock photos are a bit clinical. You could experiment with making the colours a bit more bold and fun. Instead of stock photos, try making stylised drawings with Inkscape (free) or Illustrator for each post. They don't have to look amazing, they should look fun!

    - The logo is nice and cute - if anything, it should be bigger!

    - Personally I found the blog post text with p { font-weight: 300 } too light to read comfortably. Try font-weight 400. If that's too dark for you, use font-weight 400 with a very slightly lighter colour like #323232 instead of pure black. I think it would be easier to read without looking much darker.
