I think the first page is some what not needed to be honest, I think you should just jump straight to the main site that you want people to look at, inless you are planning to spice it up a little, but even then I am not a big fan. Other then that it's all good.

I agree. Remove the first page and go straight to the content. Also, your navigation titles are hard to read being white on light blue/grey, make the font a different color or change the background to be darker.

Looks like it's unanimous, I'd get rid of the splash page you have to. As far as the site goes, it's pretty plain, not many graphics. There's a lot of text too, IMO.
