Not bad just a little tacky looking.
I dont like the google search bar at the bottom of your page.
Good idea, take it further. And lose the scrolling title text.
Your guestbook knocks your footer off the page and creates horizontal scrolling.
Apart from that center the page, lose the google search and mapquest logo and you'll have a good site.
I agree about the scrolling text, that looks very geocities-lile. Also, your header is HUGE. That's alot of wasted space. On 800x600, you can't see much besides that blue texture, and it looks like there's horizontal scrolling because your site is wider than 780 pixels (scroll bars take up 20 pixels).
attractive design, simple and too the point, although graphics would help. IMO.

I agree with what Spluff said about the header. It's taking up far too much space. Try shrinking the height on it a bit, and putting your logo on top of it. The header image is also out of alignment with your picture...looks like it's about 5 or so pixels off.
The contact page is a little out of whack too. All of the text is right-justified, but the "name" section is left. I don't know if having a guestbook on portfolio site is good or bad. If you want a place to showoff comments about work you've done, maybe change it around to look more proffesional. I'm kind of stuck looking for a good word to classify what I'm talking about. If I think of it, I'll reply again.
The site looks nice, but fix a few things and it'll look great.
laundrymedia, are you Jason Hunter?
If so, why are you refering to yourself in the 3rd person?
Just remembered what you should change the guestbook to...a "testimonial" section. Sounds and looks more professional.
LOL @ transio
Try color correcting the image of the guy on the page. He needs more brightness or something. Otherwise it looks ok so far - maybe take out the 1px white border on the blue area so that it lines up perfectly witht he attached bottom.
