lose the intro, not a bad design, maybe work a little more on the banner you got there.
Other then that it's pretty good, but I would maybe re-consider the roll-overs, make them slightly more obvious, I like roll-overs and think they would look good if worked on a little more, what you got now is good, but take it further, the same goes for the rest of your site aswell, develope it further, add more content.

for an extreme sports site, the black and white doesn't fit it real well. go for an EXTREME style deal. I can pic. what i mean in my head but can't express it in words. sorry. i'll post again if i can express what i mean.

Here are some thoughs:
- Dark text on a dark background is impossible to read.
- The yellow mouseovers don't match anything else on your site.
- The navigation images are very hard to read.
- I think it would look better if the text lined up. Put the pictures on one side, and don't center the text. Centered text is harder to read than left-aligned text.

[1]change body text color to white...
[2]also change color of right side menu....
[3]also remove arrow form there...
[4] change image of top menu and footer
