Can you please comment on the following two links, but please IGNORE
the banner at the top of the first design, it was only to give you some idea with all the spaces filled in. (neither are finished)

How could I improve both? And which one do you prefer? Should I start again?

Lots of work is still needed but I need a general idea of how you guys think they are coming on.

1st Design

You need alt tags on your navigation and the scroller either needs to be shorter, or should scroll a little faster, as at the moment it takes an age to scroll the entire length.

2nd Design

I like it all except your rollover links. They don't seem to be quite as good quality (graphics wise) as the rest of your website. Also your 'Home' navigation rollover link is a little out of line with the onMouseout link.

Both Designs

Need 'ALT=""' tags on navigation bar.

Personally, I'd go for the 1st Design out of the two Dan.

Yeah the roll overs were just tacky thngs i needed to chuck in.

Also your second design, if you choose to continue with it, needs to be altered so that it centres in the midle of the screen on all resolutions.

I like the second one better, but I'd like to see a banner with bolder colors. The first one is a little too dull for me. And I'm not a fan of the scrolling text in the first one (especially because there's one block of text that keeps scrolling).
