The idea is to make it a site where you read contemporary/current articles with a very sarcastic view.
The core is Mambo, a CMS. But the design is me. ;-)
Please tell me if you like it, where can I improve it, etc.
And if somebody knows Mambo, please tell me if he knows some good "add comments" component.

    This is the temporary URL:

    Thnx

It looks nice, but you have about 10000 lines of code when most people could do that in like... 100 or less.

It takes me a long time to understand what I'm reading.

    B,

That's just the generic Lorem Ipsum text as there's nothing there yet, check out Lipsum.com for info on the text.

By the way, the site looks ok, good luck with it.

newfiewebguru: as it is right now, you can do it with 100 lines, but I like to think big. Maybe in the future I need a lot of automated things on the site, and I don't want to change all the code. So now the CMS is only at it 5% possibility.

Lord B: Yes it's the Lorem Ipsum filler text, for seeing how the page will look without writing anything. And I've read that it isn't any language, it is the imagination of someone. (It looks to Latin, but it isn't).

    Thnx for the comments.

The name of this thread confused me a little...

I like the site, nice and clean, once you get more content and a few articles it should be quite nice.

Well done, I give you 4/5.

Off-topic - how hard is it to skin Mambo?

Yes, I've just noted that the title of the thread is a bit confusing.

It wasn't too much pain skinning mambo. I copied the default layout, The I replaced all the graphics in it, modified the CSS (most difficult part, as you don't have much idea of what every CSS class does), and finally editing the template file.
The very good part of Mambo's template system, is that the whole site depends on ONE index.php, ONE CSS, and the images used. Not like other CMS that you need to modify 20 CSS, and 30 individual files.

    Thanks

Lorum isn't made up it comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance.

    Nice site BTW.

It looks nice. But, I found a technical problem, involving your Search engine.

Unless you press [Enter], there's no way for a person to search for something on your site (which is a problem for new people on the site)

By the way, how did you get your logo, as a .png file, less than 5KB big?
