I am currently in the process of making a website for the Tukwila Children's Foundation. I have got the basic layout that I want to use, but I need some help on which colors I should use for the layout and help on the design of some graphics.

Here is what I have so far:
    http://www.ultimatepaintball.net/tuk...lawebsite.html

There is some more detail at that address as far as what I need help with. If you are interested in giving me a hand you can get ahold of me on email at brandomax@aol.com Thanks for the help.

I'd get rid of the dark color scheme all together. The link in my signature can help you find colors that complement each other. www.good-tutorials.com has tons of tutorials on how to make lots of different effects, including banner images. Play around with some of the tutorials and you can come up with your own unique banner.

Thanks for the input. Any input on what I should do for the background behind the main layout? White is too plan. Any good patterns or colors you can think of?

White is never too plain. IMHO opinion it is the most powerful/ beautiful "color" used in web design.
