    Hi all,

Well, that didn't take long, did it?

SO many things got in the way that Jennifer and I only just managed to finalise an agreed new format for her site's pages at tea-time today.

So, hot off the press (or whatever), please check out:

This is the cleaned-up, got-rid-of-the-gradients version. But we still can't decide about the nav buttons. So we've included 3 versions, to get some feedback about those too.

The previous (i.e. current) page design is at:

Thanks for any comments, and we'll remember you all in our mantras, next time we fire up a joss stick!

    Thanks for the info, Dragon.

Just one more thing - do any of the extensions make it 'newbie-proof'??? :cross-eyed:

About the background color. I am on XP Pro and using I.E and all I see is a very slight creamy-peachy-magnoliary-whitey color. It is pretty much white. Get a pic of some real sand of the internet then tile it as the background - it might look more realistic. I don't really use images as backgrounds as it slows loading but if that is what you want to do then so be it...

    will7, that's what I saw.

sarab, you can customize Firefox (using no extensions) to pretty much act the same as IE, with the the only major differences being the tabbed browsing and the pop-up blocker. And they can't be bad.

Attached is a screenshot of my firefox toolbar at the top, you can probably make out all the buttons on it as simmiliar to IE.

The image I made was too large to be uploaded so view it here:

Thing is, will7, it is a pic of real sand. Jennifer lightened its colour a bit, so as to keep the text legible, but I've never seen it look that light, and we did check it in IE...

And thanks, tekp, for the stuff on Firefox. Maybe it's time Jen and I got a copy each.

Still don't understand this background thing, though... :ermm:
