Review Request: Point of Presence - v0.0x10,1

Before i get to deep into this project, i wanted to get some direct feedback... this is the basic layout, cut straight out of PS and brought together into html... no working links at this time. The section teaser (Experienced Assemblers, Inuitive Design) rotates on every refresh for now. But eventually it will be a fully animated flash object. Still alot of work ahead for this one.

There are lots of good aspects to the page, but I'm only focusing on the ones that will help. As a starting point it would be nice if you could set font sizes that are more readable. Lipsum is a good resource/alternative for writing 'this is a test...' etc. It allows you to judge page typography much better.

I'm not keen on the tightly condensed font, its also difficult to read. (the ones used in images, with exception of the page header)

I don't feel that the grey fits in with the colour scheme your using, a lighter shade of blue/ or just white would work better.

There are other things, but I felt these stood out the most; they should help some way to improving the site.

Nice look and feel...

Slow load time (56k modem).

Body font looked OK on my 17" CRT.

Main comment is:
The opening page leaves me to work out what I'm looking at. No intro text. If I'm expected to click on 'Services' or whatever to find out, I'm just as likely to click off elsewhere...

Having looked again, I think that your 'Experienced Assemblers' image stays in the background too much. Presumably it's the main description of what the site offers?
