    Hey guys,

This is a layout I made for a dot com business I am starting with my uncle. This is very early in the design process and there are no working links or anything yet, so please just comment on layout, usability and design. Thanks!

Nice design, though I feel content is required to give a proper opinion. 3.5/5 for the design... It blends very well thoguh I think the background image to the pge could be changed. It doesn't suit the site as it is.

    Yeah I agree with justlivyalife
It's not bad but is hard to tell with so little on it. I am not over keen on the colours though.

yeah I'll go with Daniel on this...I don't like them either. Some of the image quality is very bad and your last line is half-eaten.

    your last line is half-eaten.
Which line? And what do u mean by "half-eaten?"

As for the color scheme, I was trying go for casino-ey type colors (i.e. green, purple, gold, ect) but more subdued, so as not to create a tacky, casino-pop-up ad type of look. If anyone has color suggestions, please share.

I know the image quality isnt the greatest, especially on the "spademan" logo, but they will be improved, right now I just need them in there to get the genreal overall look of the site.

Justlivyalife: By background do u mean the green gradient, or the chips in the header image?

    Thanks for the repies.

Are you talking about the whole page or just one line of text? It displays fine for me in both IE and Firefox too.
