    Hey there,

I've been working for something for a fair while now, hence I haven't been on these forums for a while I'm sure you've all missed me... :cheeky:

Anyhoo, aside from some of the things that I know about, such as:
    • The new post and thread indicators don't work
    • The gallery link doesn't work yet
    • A problem with announcements

What do you guys think needs changing to get the site as good as it can?
    http://www.goxplore.net

    Thanks y'all!

Think about using a more clear, easy, basic font for the other elements of text in your banner, leave the styling emphasising the 'GoeXplore' - Century Gothic, Verdana, Arial, Helvetica etc would work well.

The .gif compression in the banner results in visible banding occuring, could the export quality be increased ?

Is there any reason for the footer link being aligned out to the right ?

Other than a few small things it looks good to go.

In addition to the above, the only thing I don't like is the gray link color on the gray background. The links should stand out more.

I suppose the grey links on grey bg have been changed, since I can't see any?
Overall, it looks good, and I thought the colour scheme was quite fetching.

The orange rollover for sub-headings doesn't fit to well as they blend togeather, you'd need to create an additional set of classes for the links. - See 'Breaking the ice', 'Everything outdoors' etc.

    Hey guys!

Me again. I've just finished an upgrade this weekend (went to 3.0.1) and reopened the board after having it turned off for a month or two whilst I worked on other stuff. I've redone the logo completely, changed the footer, added a portal... and some more as well.

I'd appreciate any more constructive criticism or advice you can throw at me - bring it on *beats chest hardcore looking styleee*

    Cheers

I don't remember whether you had the white background last time, but this time I viewed, it was a bit.. offputting. I'm not suggesting you should cram things onto the screen, but I thought there was too much white. Rather detracted from your fine top banner.

    Good luck with getting members.

I'm not quite sure what you mean to be honest.... any chance you could mark up a screenshot or something?

Do you mean there's too much empty space? Or too much white? Or both?

I'm viewing it in firefox. The site feels balanced to me. The top links are a little hard to find because they are white on a black background. Overall, I don't have much to crit other than what others said.
    Cheers, zionlocke :chinese:
