I want to enter my site, mexican hat designs to the junior web awards but I need to know if you all think it could get one.

I took a look at the 2002 winners and there are some that are really good. And the there are others that I guess aren't to good. Very bad design. To take a look at the 2002 winners you know what to do. Thanks.

    Peace

I think it's good. It just has to offer good content in addition to good looks to be deemed a good site, at least IMO.

I would say you have to work on two things.

1- Work on your intro, add graphics and don't use just plain text. What you have written in it does the job all the way. But you have to spice it up a little bit to make it stand up on top of the others.

2- Work on the typo. The typo on the header is, imo, unappropriate for a compagny name and/or visual identity, since the rest of your design is very clean. Maybe try sans-serif fonts. And do the same with your navigation rollovers. The rollovers themselves are very nice, but the text that appears need some work.

I think the layout is very nice looking and the images you chose are very great. Only couple of details !

    Keep going pal !

Yeah I do I agree on working more on the intro. But I downloaded flash last night and I'm very new to it. I'm getting the hang of it. I'll add some picture in but I still want to keep it very simple.
