    Hey Guys,

I have totally revamped my bluffgear.com website and the layout now is totally different that what it was. I personally like how its coming out so far, lets hear your opinion. Keep in mind, this is only the "1st draft" of the site, and many tweaks and enhancements still need to be made.
Note: There are currently no working links.

Kool, I like the navigation. Very clever. Still looks a bit amateur in my opinion though, try making the navigation links smaller.

I like the cards popping up, especially the royal flush theme Might want to experiment with them popping out a bit more.

I'm assuming the green bkgrd is representing baize?

Even so, it's a bit 'ouch' - bright.

    Nice theme, though.

Thanks. Unfortunately, that is far as they can pop up though, any farther and I would have to increase the image height. This would mess up my layout, and hurt my loading times.

    What is baize?

Anyway, the background color is just s a placeholder until I find a texture for poker table felt, which i will tile.

Very nice indeed. Make the pages look like real cards.

Do you mean "Made the pages.." as in a compliment? Or as a suggestion?

If its a suggestion, can u give me some specific things to improve upon?

    Thanks.

EDIT: Update - Ok, I've darken up the bg a bit (Ive come to realize that the LCD screen of the laptop I use displays colors much darker then they are on CRT screens, which is why my designs always look so bright. Its a brand new laptop and the screen brightness is at 100%, so i guess thats just the way laptop LCDs are ). Ive also added the shopping card/checkout links to the page.

(still looking for a poker table felt texture However, zeroskater is possibly getting me a digital pic of real table felt, which is a plus )

It was make, but now I see you really made them. I think they should be full size though.

Im still not really sure what u mean, do you mean, did I make each card indivdually? The answer to that is yes, with the help of Fireworks' tweening feature of course.

I think they should be full size though
Full size? I assure you, they are approximately in proportion with poker size playing cards. (if you played 20 hrs of poker a week, you would know their size and shape by heart too ) Anyway, the width of the card is already almost 700px, any wider users on 800x600 resolution would have horizontal scrollbars, and I defiantely dont want that If you mean by full size, showing the card from top edge to bottom edge, I would have to reduce the width SO much so a correctly proportionally card would fit in the browser window at 800x600, making the design useless.
