I've been studying web pages for a long time, and I'm getting better. But just when I think i Like a layout, I find a million things wrong w/ it.

The only things I do like about this layout compared to many of the hosting sites out there are:
    -fast loading times (35k)
    -lots of CSS
-almost no graphical text (good for search engines)

All intelligent comments & criticisms welcome.

Change your title (Untitled Document), I don't like the color scheme at all, the woman doesn't look good there either, the header menu is too simple and doesn't fit the layout. Overall this site looks like 5 more combined together.

This is just a preliminary view, so nothing is titled (good eye though I guess). I do tend to agreee w/ you somewhat on the color scheme though, could you perhaps be more specific as to the color scheme. Should I just make everything blue !? lol

Yes make it (blue really is my fav color for web designing) Dark blue and light blue mixed with some gray. Perfect

Try and make things more consistent. 5 different colours or more is really over doing things a little. Set yourself a rule for example that states you can only use 2 colours and an additional one for emphasis - You may use any shades/tints of that particular colour.

Olive Green/Yellow and Purple for emphasis. (I wouldn't suggest these in your case, just as an example.)

For your main navigation you use circles as the rollover effect but for the sub-menu you use arrows. Try and pick one style and use it throughout.

*Capital letters on page titles and links.

*The three hollow squares in the central box serve no real purpose and distract from the important things.

*When you change text size via IE's own controls some areas scale whilst some remain fixed. - If you don't want it to scale set everything as pixels.

*Don't use confusing abbreviations such as '"acc'ts", just write accounts.
