    Back to the topic at hand, I would suggest wordpress as well. it's much more extensible, and if you start on the wordpress server and decide to move to your own, it's much easier to do so. You can take wordpress with you. Not so much the case with blogger (at least last time I checked a couple years ago).

    I"ve used both Blogger and Wordpress. Recently I changed from blogger to WP, and have never looked back. The amount of support, customisation, themes etc etc avaliable on WP is incredible and vastly outweighs blogger in every aspect that I can think of.
    But of course if you're looking at a corporate CMS then I wouldn't suggest either. For that go for Joomla or Drupal.

    WordPress does so many things automatically that I could sit here all day listing them, but here is a short feature list:
    * Auto-Ping sites to let them know you have a new post
    * Lets news search engines know you have a new post
    * Auto-Saves posts every 30 seconds
    * Auto-Optimizes content for search engines
    * Auto-Upgrades plugins and styles (you just tell it when to do it)
    * Auto-Upgrades itself (which = zero downtime)

    Yeah I could keep going on but you get the point I'm sure lol. As far as WordPress.com they view 'excessive' as making 5 or more links per post, these types of blogs are usually created by people to only hype up their search engin rankings and do not provide organic content which is what they're looking for you to do. I'd simply download wordpress and get your own blog going if you're really wanting to create a corporate type blog.

    Wordpress hands down. Especially if you are ever considering on switching to your own domain or turning your blog into something that is not blog-centered.

    And blogger is a mess. Horrible admin panel and functionality.
