    Hi all

    I'm just getting to grips with Wordpress by adapting the Omniblock theme.

    Two questions:

    1/ How do I get additional text styles that I define in style.css to appear in the drop-down text-style Format menu that users see by default when they edit their content (the one that allows them to select whether they want given text to appear as h1, h2, p etc)? For example, Ive defined the following text style but can't get it to appear in this drop-down menu:
    .blue {
    margin: 16px 0;
    font-size: medium;
    colour: #000066;
    font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
    }
    2/ Also, how can I change the p style so that it appears in colour #000066? I've done the obvious - in style.css p is defined (at the end of the style sheet so it's not overwritten anywhere):
    p {
    margin: 16px 0;
    font-size: medium;
    colour: #000066;
    font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
    }
    and I've changed the css for the content:
    #content {
    padding: 40px;
    margin-bottom: 24px;

    font-size: medium;
    colour: #000066;

    float: right;
    width: 560px;
    }
    #content .entry p { colour: #000066;
    }
    but whenever I view the content it is still stubbornly black.

    Many thanks to anyone who can help.

    Make sure you are editing the right css file, in some templates, only the print and screen ones are in the css folder, the real one is outside of it. Also try using color: instead of colour: , maybe thats making a difference.

    Also, many of your templates have a reset.css that overwrites anything you try to do in the main css file. Make sure that you don't have one of those, and if you do, make sure you take out anything that might be overwriting your css file, negating whatever changes you might be making.
