    Hi

We want to add a sidebar registration form that once submitted will send an email to the customer with the email address they have added (like with forum registration), with a link for them to confirm the registration.

Basically the idea is to avoid spamming etc.

    Is there such a thing?

    Regards

    Ash

If there was a Plug-in for it, I haven't found it... otherwise you would have edit your template's PHP in order to achieve this... Not sure how to go about that though without ruining the template itself :'(

Have you considered holding all new posts and/or comments for moderation so that you can always see the post/comment before it is displayed?

Sure it won't keep the spammers away, but at least they won't be able to post something without you or your editor(s) from seeing it first...
