Is there a way of having a menu structure:
Parent menu item 1
- child menu item 1a
- child menu item 1b
Parent menu item 2
- child menu item 2a
Where Parent menu Item 2 does not have a page attached to it (ie is a menu heading only)? I am a beginner in Wordpress and have currently only found how to create parent menu items with pages attached.
Also, is it possible to have a filler space before the last menu item? One customer wants the last menu item (which will always be the same) to be separated from the rest of the menu items with some space - I can do this in Expression, but am not sure about Wordpress.

To anyone else searching for this, the Ambrosite Unlink Parent Pages plugin seems to give me what I need - and also seems to work with my seo plugin.

Hi - Thanks for the update. I have been looking for an answer to this since I read your first post, but had been unable to come up with anything that would accomplish both the things you wanted to do.
I use Wordpress a lot as a CMS and am always happy to learn more about how to make it do interesting things.
Thanks,
