Hi. I've been asked to set up a website by a friend. Goodness knows why he asked me. Anyway I created an account with Wordpress and did some work on it. The thing is I used a Wordpress blog address that wasn't the web address that my friend wants to use. I want to sort it so the Wordpress blog is directed to my friends web address if anyone goes to it. I've looked all over the Wordpress stuff but can't find any clues. Help anyone? Oh and could you use plain English as my understanding of technical gobbledegook falls somewhat short of poor. Thanks for reading this.

Hi, Dennis - I am going to move this thread to the WordPress forum - you'll be more likely to get an answer there.

Dennis - my advice to you would be to set up a fresh install of Wordpress on your friend's domain (address). You can the import the posts from the previous one, by backing up the database and importing it into the new setup once it is ready.
To do this you will need access to his hosting account, to set up the database and install WordPress on that domain.
If you can give some more detail about the current site, and the site where he wants to have it, I could probably help you more.

Thanks for your reply AlpaMare. The wordpress site is 'cairndalecaravanpark.wordpress.com' and the domain name he has is 'cairndalecaravanpark.co.uk' If you happen to look on the site you will see that this is my first try at building a website and that I am obviously a total amateur, but I did promise him I would try. Thanks again for your help.
