    Hey all

Currently searching in vain for one of these and wondered if anyones come across anything. I don't need anything fancy in terms of user interface, preferably simpler rather than 'pretty' so its easy to style, some sorta basic lightbox would be fine for presentation..

My problem is, my client will want to add new galleries. He doesn't need anything really smooth and perfect but at the moment, when replicating what hed do, all the gallery plugins I've tried are either ones that lead you off to galleries hosted on their websites which is confusing, or others that seem difficult to add if you're dealing with a 'bulk' of images, not hundreds but I'm finding a one-by-one approach isn't useful. Both these flaws are time consuming and even if the gallery 'admin' interface isn't perfect it should be relatively quick. Hed be cool to use html view in the post editor, something crude like that is fine.

I must have missed something as I feel there must be people who've needed the same thing, and my needs aren't hugely specific. I have tried to use wp's built in gallery but no luck on the chosen theme.. http://www.hightideboatparties.com is the site.
Would really appreciate a reference to something you've found does the job.

    Thanks in advance!
    Emma

    Hi Emma,
here are two galleries that I used before. It's been a while so the updated versions might be different.
    http://photographyblogsites.com/webs...age-galleries/
This is one that will create a gallery with thumbnails like a flash gallery.
    http://www.semiologic.com/software/auto-thickbox/
This creates a easy thickbox but if they have a lot of images, the page will get very long. The upside is that they just go to the media-uploader, choose all the images and save the changes.
    Hope that helps.
