Unhappy Creating Email username and passwords

I created a site for a law firm, now they want the emails that match the site. My problem is they want to create their own passwords the each email. But Powweb (hosting company) says they don't have a way for each user to create their confidential password with out me giving them assess to my hosting account. Is there a hosting co. that has way to get that done. Or there's no way to get that done and they would just have trust me with their email passwords.

If you built the site for them and they want control over their emails, they're entitled to it. It's their domain.

As far as users creating their own confidential email passwords, it is doable, but you'd need a half-decent webmail client to allow your clients to log in and change the password. You'd set up the client email accounts, and then they'd go somewhere like webmail.domain.com or mail.domain.com, log in with a temporary password, and then go wherever the webmail client tells them to in order to change their password.

Hosts that offer MailEnable and SmarterMail are capable of offering this. Sectorlink did offer both at different times, but now that they've moved to "Cloud Hosting" I'm not sure if they still do (they probably do via MailEnable, but I don't want to say this for sure).
