    Guest Content Help

Hey All, I have a question from perhaps a fairly experienced Web Developer.

We are looking to build a site for our business that let's clients upload videos to for everyone to see their progress through various challenges, etc.

My question is: what would be the best way to go about that?

Currently using Wordpress for the site so I didn't know if maybe there was a plugin that could do the job or something like that? Is it necessary to have extensive knowledge in some of the programming languages?

It is almost always "necessary to have extensive knowledge in [most] of the programming languages." This is especially true when dealing with media, and when trying to go outside of the core functionality of any system.

That said, there is most likely a plugin that does what you want at best. From there, consider asking users to upload to Youtube or similar. At worst, dump Wordpress, as it's not intended for social-type sites.
