    First, I'm not posting this for a review, because it's in the very early stages (though all thoughts are welcome).

    Now, go here and resize your browser window on the horizontal and watch the background images. Best part is: simple as heck to do.

    NOTE: If it doesn't work, you're using IE <9. Upgrade.

    Yes, but the effect is CSS3 Multiple backgrounds with negative percentage-based position values. The effect can be done without CSS3, but requires extra HTML to accomplish.

    Yeah, that's the plan. Gotta get the structure laid down first. It's fairly responsive at the moment, there just aren't any break points set up yet.

    Try getskeleton.com, its a fantastic responsive layout set. Same with the TwitterBootstrap, but I prefer GS.

    Hadn't heard of skeleton. I don't really do frameworks, though. I like the "shrink the window 'til the design breaks, then add a media query" method. ;)

    Neither do I do frameworks, but man,you gotta try it, its really really good its just a baseplate for your design. very easy to use and integrate :)
