    Hello,
I'm just joining the forum, and hoping to learn alot...
For the past six years, I was one of two staff members at a small non-profit. We had a website that had been designed by a volunteer before I arrived, and maintenance and updating of that site fell to me. So, everything I know about HTML and web-design was basically learned "on the job." So far, I've never really created a site from scratch-- just played around within an existing site.

I have recently left that position and am now working as an independent contractor... but I've "volunteered" to re-do that organization's web-site. I'm here to learn more, so that I can create a site that really highlights the organization and brings them more support! I also have a number of other projects I'd like to start, all of which will need a web presence.

Looking forward to learning alot... and gaining confidence to also contribute!
